Jon has litigated numerous cases before all levels of courts in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States Federal District Court, United States Court of Claims, United States Bankruptcy Court, and has tried cases in other New England States.

His successes include:

  • Obtaining the largest verdict ever from the United States District Court, District of Massachusetts, Western Division.
  • Successfully managing a significant number of sophisticated civil trials, for clients nationwide.
  • Assisting numerous businesses with development and implementation of expansion and compliance strategies.

In addition to these successes, Jon has been recognized by Massachusetts Lawyer's Weekly, the Official Publication of Courts of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, for various trial victories in noteworthy cases:

In 1999, Jon was recognized by Lawyers Weekly for obtaining one of the ten largest plaintiff's verdicts of the year (Jackson v. Renaissance Software);

In 2000, Jon defended Longwood Texaco in the case of Lefell v. Longwood Texaco. This decision was chosen by Lawyers Weekly as one of the most important Massachusetts decisions of 2000;

In 2001, Jon was recognized by Lawyers Weekly as having received one of the ten biggest defense verdicts of the year (Singh v. 207 Main Street, LLC); and

In 2003, Jon was recognized by Lawyers Weekly as having received one of the ten biggest defense verdicts of the year (Technology in Medicine, Inc. v. Gorman).

In 2005 Jon was recognized by Lawyers Weekly for having obtained one of the five largest plaintiff's settlements of the year ($9.9 million).

He also assists senior executives with structuring business transactions to position their business for future success.

When not involved in the law firm practice, Jon assists with the management of Rudolph Friedmann LLP. He is also an active member of various professional and business organizations, including the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and the Boston Bar Association.
