George Georgountzos

After more than 12 years managing a local solo practice, George joined Rudolph Friedmann LLP as an associate where he continues to practice in the areas of real estate conveyancing and general litigation. George served as a judicial law clerk to the Justices of the Superior Court after graduating from law school. He then served as an associate in a boutique litigation firm focusing on defending insureds. In his own practice, George represents buyers, sellers and lenders in residential real estate and has cultivated strong relationships with real estate professionals, lenders, builders and developers. In addition, George has an active litigation practice representing landlords in disputes with tenants, bringing actions or defending against claims in business disputes, and representing buyers and sellers of commercial enterprises such as restaurants, shops and professional offices. George oversees the firm’s residential and commercial eviction practice in Massachusetts District and Housing courts.

George has successfully litigated fraud claims before juries in the Superior Court, resulting in substantial awards for wronged clients.

A resident of Stoneham, George is active in local affairs and has served as a member and chairman of the Stoneham Finance & Advisory Board and as a soccer and baseball coach. George is fluent in Greek, Russian and French. He enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife and four children.
